Chalet and Historic Inn at Mt. Rainier – Winter into Spring

Come visit Mt. Rainier, for a time of exploration and relaxation.  Guests have been loving the opportunity to enjoy more snow this year,  at Longmire and Paradise Areas.  Then, they love to return to their Suite for rest and relaxation.  There is also a campfire area, with complimentary wood and a Hottub, in a park-like area.

The Winter Rates/Spring rates apply, from January to mid-May!

Rates are:  $100/night, for a two-night stay (a third night would be only$50).  This is for a two-person occupancy.  (It is an additional $10/night for a third guest and $10/night, for a fourth guest).  If staying one-night, it is $120/night.  Holidays require a two-night to three-night stay.  We hope you come and visit soon…

Summer Flowers are Blooming at Mt. Rainier!!

Come and enjoy Mt. Rainier!!  The flowers are actually starting to bloom, almost a month early…

Stay at one of our relaxing Chalet Suites or Historic Inn Suites…we are only 6 miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier.  We can recommend many hikes and sight-seeing areas, within the Park!!

We are also in the enjoyable mountain community of Ashford, where world-renowned hikers have a sports store and outdoor Basecamp Pub and Grill.  There are also other enjoyable restaurants and art shops in the area.  Enjoy now!!

For Each Suite, we are offering the Memorial Day Weekend Specials of one night stay for $100, the second night stay for $90 and the 3rd night for $60.  This is for two guests/Suite (with $10/additional guest/night, above the two guests)!!

Hot, complimentary, country breakfast, each morning. Plus, enjoy the Hottub, for private use time, in a park-like setting…

From May 15th through May 17th is the 9th Annual Rainier Independent Film Festival.

If you stay in one of our Suites, for the nights of May 15th and May 16th, we offer a package rate of the two nights for $160 total.  This is for 2 guests (additional guests are only $10/guest/night).  We also offer a hot, complimentary, country breakfast, each morning.

We had a beautiful, early morning visitation by two deer, having just crossed the serene stream.  They were then grazing in one of the many open meadows (this one right by the Chalet and the Historic Home).  A few days ago, we sited numerous Elk in an open Meadow nearby.

Ralph and Chris, proud owners of Mountain Meadows Inn, finally set aside time, to take a late-winter tour of some of the Inn’s majestic 10 acres.  We marvel over the stately old-growth, Red Cedar Grove, where the Cedars range from 23 to 25 feet in diameter and 125 to 150 feet in height.  True Giants of our eco-system!  We also observed the property being graced with 100-foot plus Douglas Fir trees.  Then, there are two winding Creeks surrounding and enhancing the Cedar Grove.  Elsewhere, the forest floor is abounding with deep-green ferns and beautific, lush alpine meadows, with daffodils already starting to bloom…

Come visit our Inn and the Property (Especially the Cedar Grove and all of the new daffodils, throughout the property)!!

We are offering a Special over the Thanksgiving Weekend: First two nights (Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th) for $90/night and the third night (Friday, November 28th) for $60 that night.  Come enjoy your own scheduled private time in a Hottub (under the stars and protected by several old-growth trees) and a warm, complimentary breakfast in the morning.  Couples and/or families can enjoy an old-fashioned, country setting for their special holiday.
